Small fixes for the words and lists you work with.

Check a word or character limit

Word Counter shows words and characters, with a separate total excluding whitespace. Word counting uses English segmentation; other editors can apply different rules. Characters count Unicode code points, so one displayed emoji may count as several. For a strict submission limit, also check the destination’s own counter.

Remove repeated items from a list

Remove Duplicate Lines keeps the first occurrence of each exact line without sorting. Use one item per line. Capitalization and surrounding spaces matter: “Apple” and “apple” remain different items. Repeated blank lines are duplicates too. The tool does not trim or otherwise rewrite the surviving lines.

Change capitalization, then review names

Text Case Converter offers uppercase, lowercase and title case while retaining spaces, punctuation and line breaks. Title case capitalizes each word, including short words, and does not follow an editorial style guide. Review acronyms such as NASA, which becomes Nasa, and personal names before publishing.
